The foundation was established to promote and improve the socio-economic wellbeing of disadvantaged rural members in Tanzania. Specifically, it supplements government efforts in supporting marginalized groups of people such as widows, orphans, albinos, youth, the elderly and those with disabilities.

VICTORIA FOUNDATION DONATES SANITARY PADS TO 25 SCHOOLS IN GEITA REGION.

These sanitary pads will benefit a total of 2500 girls from 25 schools in the Geita region from all six districts, where one box of sanitary pads can be used by a student for up to five years as the pads are reusable, produced by the Palesa Pads Company from South Africa. This is a step-by-step project aimed at helping girls to access sanitary pads to enable them to attend school at all times, especially during their menstrual days.

MTWARA REGION BENEFIT 11000 SANITARY PADS TO YOUNG SCHOOL GIRLS.

Through the collaborative efforts of the Victoria Foundation, stakeholders, and community supporters, the project aims to make a lasting impact on the lives of girls in the Mtwara region. By promoting menstrual health and education, the Binti Ng'ara, Fikia Malengo initiative contributes to breaking barriers and empowering girls to reach their full potential.

The Binti Ng'ara campaign aims to eradicate the stigma and difficulties faced by girls in schools during menstruation, underlining the crucial importance of ensuring that female students receive the necessary support when needed. One key aspect highlighted is the promotion of reusable towels as a way to achieve the goal of providing consistent assistance to female students.
